The Wm. W. Doud Post Home is located at 898 Buffalo Road on the western outskirts of Rochester, New York, near the Barge Canal. It houses the largest American Legion Post in Monroe County and is one of the finest post homes in the nation. Complete facilities are available for Legion activities, and entertainment for Legionnaires and their friends is lavishly provided. The Post was named for Wm. W. Doud who was killed in action at Grand-Pre, France, during World War I.
