Miss Araminta Doolittle's school in 1854
One of the earliest group daguerreotypes made in Rochester. Taken in L. V. Griffin's Gallery, by E. T. Whitney, in 1854. The children in the picture were scholars of the Primary Department of Miss Araminta Doolittle's school. Reading from left to right they are as follows:
