Notes: St. Boniface has a beautiful interior, and possesses one of the most exquisitely wrought altars in the diocese. The altar was presented to the church by Rev. Father Benker and was built by Anton Halstrick, of this city. Its center piece, "Mary and the Infant Jesus," and "the fourteen Helpers," were painted by Wm. Lamprecht, of New York. Two beautiful statues of St. Joseph and St Herman, by Sculptor Halstrick, are will add greatly to the already imposing appearance to the interior.
