This is a presentation on cemeteries in Monroe Co., NY that were dug up and moved or a few that suffered extreme damage. This part has old cemeteries that used to be in the current city limits of the City of Rochester. The video shows 16 cemeteries that were moved.

Cemetery Video 2

This is a presentation on cemeteries in Monroe Co., NY that were dug up and moved and a few that suffered extreme damage. This part has old cemeteries in the suburban and rural Towns of Monroe County. Also included a description of the removals from Livingston County, NY of Lt. Boyd, Sgt. Parker and other US soldiers killed by a Seneca raid in 1779 during the Revolutionary War. They ended up in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Rochester.


St. Patrick's Cemetery on Pinnacle Hill - 18 minutes.

This is the history of St. Patrick's Cemetery that used to be on Pinnacle Hill in Rochester, NY. It began in 1838. In 1871 when Holy Sepulchre started some burial began being moved out but also new burial were being done in St. Patrick's. The last burial was in 1900. Then in 1935 all remaining burial were moved to Holy Sepulchre.
